
A group from UC Santa Cruz called "Students Against War" published a press release with the full names and contact information of their "ad hoc press team". You can see the press release here. Malkin published the students names and contact info.
I'm not a Malkin fan at all, but these students were being...students. Naive, idealistic, full of themselves and sure that everyone would see them as heroes for chasing military recruiters off campus. They posted their names and numbers because they thought everyone would want to interview them - they'd be famous.
But when the right got hold of the story and things turned nasty, all of a sudden it is Malkin's fault. It's just like the toddler who pulls and pulls on the cat's tail, only to wail and cry for Mommy when the cat turns around and swipes a him.
Malkin has gleefully displayed the sophisticated logical arguments she has received in her email.
