News Floozy: Bush Not a Leader, Punishing Journalists, Character, $4 Gas

Totally brain dead this morning.  I just realized that I was clicking through my RSS feeds without actually reading them.  And there is some pretty good stuff in there too:

Daily Kos:  "Handed the greatest opportunity for leadership since Pearl Harbor, George Bush alternated between telling us to buy stuff and visit Disney World, while spooking an anxious nation in to a war against people that had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks."  Bush is not a leader - he hasn't lead anything more important than a conga line in college.

Crooks and Liars on punishing journalists for leaks:  "...some days it sounds like the administration is declaring war at home on the values they profess to be promoting abroad..."  Umm, maybe because they don't really believe in the crap they are spouting?

Dvorak Uncensored:  "A Georgia gubernatorial candidate accepted the resignation of her campaign manager Wednesday after he was accused of changing the online Wikipedia biography of an opponent in the upcoming Democratic primary."  I...I feel faint... sensing some... character in a politician....

Huffington Post:  "The Senate voted Wednesday to divert some of the money President Bush requested for the war in Iraq to instead increase patrols against illegal immigrants on the nation's borders... "  Well, of course.  The war is old and boring.  Immigration is the now subject.

Hugh Hewitt:  "...events in Iran, Venezuala and Nigeria could send oil to prices which would result in $4 a gallon gas..."  Does anyone else notice the inverse relationship between Bush's poll ratings and the price of gas?
