At heart I am both a techie and a news junkie. The two aren’t really that different – they both are interested in minutiae that “normal” folks roll their eyes at. I hope to translate that minutiae into language that most people can understand.
I also enjoy pulling back from issues to look at all sides from a distance. The “A” List is full of bloggers with decided opinions (Oh Really?). By comparing all the opinions and chatter on an object I hope to present you with interesting takes on the current “buzz”.
It won’t be boring! While not as snarky as Wonkette, opinionated as Winer, or introspective as Scoble, my own point of view will be on display for your comments - adoring, disparaging or anything in between. Feel free. I can take it. (Do you hear ominous music?)
From business to tech, politics to movies, the A List covers it all and so will AListReview. So hold on folks, it is going to be a wild ride!

This month I resigned as WA bureau chief for MicroEnterprise Journal. It required much more time than I was able to devote to it. In the meantime, I began blogging for another KMM blog - DoRealTime - which covers business collaboration applications and ways businesses can work together in real time.

I hope to finish my master's thesis in Latin American history next spring. Reading about your experiences reminds me that no matter what others may say, I can make it as a writer if I'm determined enough.
