Stephen Colbert to Replace Scott McClellan?
Hugh Hewitt thinks that Stephen Colbert would make a fine Press Secretary.   It is true - let's look at his qualifications:
  • He can present incredibly stupid things as if they were seriously true
  • He retains a serious, professional demeanor even when lying through his teeth
  • He is fabulous at filling in the blanks with obfuscation
  • He has mastered the art of answering an attack with a counter-attack
Unfortunately, I've heard that in reality, Stephen is friendly, kind and very laid-back.  Not such an asset for the Bush team.
