Blogging American Idol: Chris Daughtry Follow-Up

Following up on my post last night about how bloggers go straight from TV to their blogs, let's look at which A-Listers picked up the news (or is hanging onto its coattails for clicks you decide):

Power Line: The American Bar Association interjecting itself into partisan politics: Not shocking. Chris Daughtry being voted off American Idol: Shocking!...

Defamer: Deciding the gayest moments on AI: these aren't bad choices

Althouse: "But it is deserved. He was my favorite, but I let him go last night. He just wasn't good enough. " Sad, sad words, Ann.

Blogcritics: Regarding AI screensaver downloads: "Chris Daughtry garnered 44.7% of the Final Four downloads, Katherine McPhee snagged 25.7%, Taylor Hicks grabbed 20.8%, and Elliott Yamin -- whom we all have to admit is the least pretty individual to go this deep in the competition in the history of the show -- brought up the rear with 8.8%."

And this is at 7:30 in the morning, when most West Coast bloggers are just picking the crust out of their eyes.
