Three Potential A-Listers and One That Isn't Trying
In follow up to my previous post, I'm checking out some blogs that Zane at Conference Calls Unlimited recommended to me.

There are some great blogs there - Church of the Customer has some very interesting content and I'm going to refer Maria Palma of CustomersAreAlwaysRight.com over there.  Why hadn't I found them before?  Why aren't they A-Listers?  Their blog is not listed on Technorati!  Without a way to search for them (or having someone refer them to me) they are invisible!  It is also a little confusing - their blog is called Church of the Customer, but their Typepad URL is CustomerEvangelists.
The next blog that Zane referred is Be Excellent, a business blog that is looks like some of my KMM brethren already know about.  Be Excellent combines selling services with really good business news and is on Technorati - listed 27,090, which is respectable.  I am adding him to my reading list, although he has a ways to go to hit A-List.

I'm really excited about Joel Makower's blog: Two Steps Forward.  He blogs about sustainable business practices, which I am passionate about.  He talks about technical issues in a way that I can understand - with some mental stretching.  I'm definitely adding him to my feed, and yes ladies and gentleman - he is listed with Technorati with a respectable rank of 25,444.

Evelyn Rodriguez' blog, Crossroad Dispatches, is what I characterize as a "personality blog".  A little bit of everything.  Another winner from Zane because the very first post I see talks about reading Emerson.  Anyone who reads Emerson and blogs is worth reading.  She is in Technorati with a very good ranking of 8,168, but she needs to claim her blog <grin>.

None of these blogs are "officially" A-List.  Whatever that means.  Well, they aren't on the Technorati 100 and they don't appear in some other rankings.  But they could.  They definitely could.  Be Excellent is just as good as Guy Kawasaki's blog.

So I'm going to monitor them, mention them occasionally and give you updates on their status.

Thanks for the comments about our Church of the Customer blog.

Part of the confusion about findability may undoubtedly be due to our Typepad URL being different than the blog's name.

But some folks at Technorati have pointed out to us that Typepad assigns two different URLs to everyone's blog on their service. Sigh.

You should be able to find us (I hope) on Technorati at:
http://technorati.com/search/customerevangelists.typepad.com

Thanks, Diane, for the kudo's. Glad you found me!
