Praise - Great blog design, sophisticated and clean.
Praise - It is a small thing, but I like how you have your personal information arranged - on many blogs it is next to impossible to find.
Tip - No comments? I'd love to see comments and discussions on your blog.
Tipped Blog #2: Ain't It Cool News
Praise - Love the Top Talkbacks on the right - it makes it easy to see at a glance what people are interested in.
Praise - The "cartoony-ness" of the blog works well for your subject matter
Praise - Great job on fitting the advertising into the site - it looks natural, considering your content.
Tip - The pages are distracting and a little too full. You need some whitespace!
Tipped Blog #3: Megnut
Praise - The navigation is the header is inspired.
Praise - Including a "featured article" with a photo of the dish is smart - it encourages visit depth - I wonder if you've noticed greater depth since doing that?
Praise - Very clean, simple layout, which I admire. Lots of open space and the advertising fits right in.
Tip - Try breaking up your longer articles with a "Read More" link when they appear on the front page or with a bunch of others. The longer article breaks up the page and when I'm scanning, I notice I don't bother going below the article, just move on.
