Ebayer Buys a Pretty Generic "Landing Page" for $10K

So this guy buys a ringtone landing page on ebay for $10,000. The seller claims that it makes over $12,000 a month.

Apparently having the brains of a loaf of bread, he actually believed it was the plain web page that was bringing in revenue. It wouldn't have been his PPC keywords, or the $5,000 a month that the seller was spending on his own advertising.

It turns out the page was copied from another site. The original owners plan to sue the new owner and the seller. The really sad thing is that the landing page is extremely generic. I could whip up something like it (without infringing) in 15 minutes.
