My first thought was - what kind of survey was this? How did they choose their participants? Then I wondered how people were reading the news online. Are they getting more in-depth information on something they saw on television or in a newspaper? Are they getting their primary news from the internet?
I read the local paper for local gossip news and comics. I read the Wall Street Journal because I love the writing and some of the columns. During the work day I take a break by scanning the CNN front page. Once in awhile a story will catch my eye from my Google homepage.
Because I read the A-List, I find I have much more information than the evening news, which proves to be annoying for everyone around me during the news.
I'm constantly shaking my finger at Bob Schieffer and saying "That's not the whole story!"
