Yesterday I had to make one of my periodic runs to Seattle. I called a friend with whom I worked at my last corporate wonk job - I was controller she is the star salesperson (and is still there). I work her up from a Tuesday night hangover and she started complaining about the horrible day she'd had and how the company was totally whacked. I couldn't help myself. I started laughing hysterically.

"What? Whaaat?" she moaned.

"Chica - I don't work there any more!" Some of the happiest words I've ever spoken.
