 Andrew Sullivan reports that locals, and maybe Jordanians, turned him in and points to Juan Cole's blog. Juan claims there was no evidence of operational links between Zarqawi and al-Qaeda. Characterize it as a revenge killing, if you want, but it certainly isn't going to make a difference in the long run in Iraq.
