Megnut is a food blog written by Meg Hourihan, co-founder of Pyra Labs, the company that created Blogger. She calls herself a 'food enthusiast' rather than a foodie or critic and her enthusiasm comes through on her posts.
Guest blogger and writer, Michael Ruhlman adds depth to Megnut, covering everything from the use of celery juice to keep organic hot dogs pink to why a vodka martini shouldn't be called a martini. (Disclosure - I'm a martini fanatic)
Meg does something different on her blog that I like - she posts a feature article, which is more in-depth than a regular blog post and comes complete with photos. A large photo on the main page links to the feature article. A great way to discuss something greater in depth, try a hand at writing full essays and driving traffic to posts you want to highlight.
Megnut is ranked 2,599 on Technorati.
