PostSecret's blog is one of those guilty pleasures in life; the blogosphere equivalent of peeking through your neighbor's curtains. People send postcards with their deepest, darkest secrets and PostSecret scans and posts them.
Some cards are frighteningly honest. Very, very few are funny. Quite a few have brought me to tears. PostSecret prominently posts a link to Hopeline and people have used their services.This past Friday night I found myself in a black hole of depression and I didn't know how I was going to make it through the night. Not knowing where to turn and feeling like I couldn't stop. I remembered seeing the Hopeline phone number in the front of your book. I talked with someone there for 2 and a half hours and I truly feel that they saved my life.I don't read PostSecret often because it hurts my heart and makes me uncomfortable. My own loss. However, considering humanity's interest in the darker aspects of human behaviour, and the loneliness of life at times PostSecret is #7 on Technorati's Top Blogs.
