I find the lack of commentary about US, torture and CIA kidnappings a little unnerving. It is just that there are so many other things going on in the world that hold our attention?

CIA insider Christine Axsmith opposed torture on her internal, classified blog and was fired. Specifically, she pointed out that waterboarding is torture. After being fired she has started a public blog. Good for her.

In Italy, a judge has put out arrest warrants for 26 CIA agents who were involved in kidnapping a terror suspect and flying him to Egypt where he was tortured. Steve Schneier points out that the CIA agent's travel was tracked due to their use of frequent flier miles. Do they get extra points for kidnap victims?
