The Floozy has been on a break this month, but now addresses the burning topic of the day:  World War III.  Like John Stewart, I was going about my daily business with blissful ignorance until I turned on the TV and saw that WWIII had started.  What are the A-Listers saying about it?

Beppe Grillo:  "I’m not interested to know who is right or who is wrong: the hezbollah, the Palestinians or the Israelis. In the Middle East the fuse has been slowly burning down for dozens of years."   Make that thousands of years.

Blogcritics:  "It is no coincidence that the terrorist attack in Northern Israel on July 12 that resulted in the kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers and the deaths of three others occurred on the very day that a deadline for Iran was set to expire."

Captain's Quarters:  "For all their talk, the Arabs understand that Israel really presents no long-term threat to their own regimes."

Crooks and Liars (quoting Stephen Colbert):  "Those of you following the Iraq war on television know its been preempted by the action packed summer replacement series-Lebanon. It’s new, it’s new-it’s scary, but it’s important for everyone to remain calm and keep the situation in perspective…"  Kind of like 'Prison Break' without the cute guys.

Powerline:  "...the would-be ethnic cleansers of the Middle East are the radical Arabs whose stated goal is to drive infidels, including but not limited to Israeli Jews, from the region."

Huffington Post:  "A top Israeli general said today that Israel's offensive in Lebanon would last another few weeks, and he said that the use of large numbers of ground forces had not been ruled out."
