Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has started a blog which apparently is authentic. There is a link in the upper right for an English language version.

Surprisingly enough there are comments enabled, although they don't show up on the English version, and an RSS feed.

In the spirit of international cooperation, I'm not going to wait until September 1st to blog tip Mr. Ahmadinejad's blog.

#1 Very passionate writing style - your personal voice really comes through.

#2 Adding multiple language versions is brilliant - it ensures wide readership and lots of link love.

#3 Great use of the polls - I can't wait to see what future issues are voted on!

Suggestion: You do mention keeping your posts shorter in the future. This is a good idea. I'd also pay attention to the structure of your paragraphs - they tend to run on a bit and become unreadable.
