When the seat is reclined, it is impossible for the person behind to work on their laptop.
My feeling is that there should be some give and take. Quite frankly, the directly upright seat position hurts my lower back; easing it back a little takes the strain off.
Now, what I'd really like to see is a dart gun that you can use on those people who insist on talking AT THE TOP OF THEIR VOICES about the intimate details of their life and work. After sitting on a plane from Reno, Nevada to Seattle, I once called a company and told them about the conversation the whole plane had overheard about their sales projections, the CEO sleeping with the CFO, and the very clever way they undercut the competitor by getting access to copies of their bids. Not that I cared about the company - it was pure revenge on the inconsiderate a$$hole.
