BlogTipping Day: Busblog, Consumerist, Marketing Pilgrim

It is another Blogtipping Day - the day where we look at three blogs, give three salutes and one suggestion.

My first BlogTipee is Tony Pierce's BusBlog.

Salute #1:  I love your writing - I get caught up in the wonderful phrasing.

Salute #2:  Cool photos and videos

Salute #3:  Strange juxtapositions of posts.

Suggestion:  Make it easier to find previous posts or navigate to previous posts.


BlogTippee number two is Consumerist.

Salute #1:  Love the "going straight to he$$" logo.

Salute #2:  Where else can we giggle over other people's unfortunate customer service stories?

lovebloggtip.jpgSalute #3:  This may sound a little strange...but I like how you always have a photo or graphic with your stories.  Something I need to remember to do.

Suggestion:  This is a toughie - maybe more stories of stupid people who steal cell phones?

BlogTipee #3 is Andy Beale's Marketing Pilgrim.

Salute #1:  I think it is cool that you include your "elevator speech" at the top of your blog.

Salute #2:  Great information on Google and how/why various aspects of it are pertinent.

Salute #3:  Interesting blogroll - I've added seven new blogs to my feed reader.

Suggestion:  I'm a fan of whitespace, but the left sidebar is distracting - it tends to run into the main text.  I'd suggest a separator bar, a different background for the sidebar, or more margin between the main content and sidebar.

Well, there you have it for this month!
