 Gill was obviously a very disturbed and depressed young man.  Disturbed, depressed people choose to play violent video games, along with normal people. Do some people identify strongly with games? Do they use it to express aggression? Absolutely, but condeming all video games because of it is like condeming cars because some people get in cars with the intention of driving fast and recklessly.
