 Noticeably absent from Bush's Maryland Labor Day speech were the state's two top Republicans - Maryland isn't that big, so avoiding the President takes some doing.  Meanwhile, the White House does another fab job of picking cabinet heads by appointing as transportation secretary a former executive with such successful experience as managing the Boston Big Dig project and the rebuilding of New Orleans. |
