"I want to be absolutely clear with our people, and the world: The United States does not torture," Bush said. "It's against our laws, and it's against our values. I have not authorized it, and I will not authorize it."Of course, in Bush's so-called mind, the definition of torture hasn't been determined yet.
The Huffington Post looks at the State Department's annual report on human rights violations. Out of 18 sections/subsections, the US itself violates 7:
- Section 1b--Disappearance
- Section 1c--Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman, or Degrading Treatment or Punishment
- Section 1d--Arbitrary Arrest or Detention
- Section 1e--Denial of Fair Public Trial
- Section 1f--Arbitrary Interference with Privacy, Family, Home, or Correspondence
- Section 3--Government Corruption and Transparency
- Section 4--Governmental Attitude Regarding International and Nongovernmental Investigation of Alleged Violations of Human Rights

BUSh has done everything he can in order to prove himself a terrorist. Everyone knows this consciencly. He's megalomaniac, stupid, preposterous leader of the brainwashed americans.
