A digest of the top blogger thoughts and ideas - The A listers

Richard Hammond, my favorite Braniac host and host of Top Gear was critically injured while attempting to break the UK land speed record.  He was driving a dragster-type of car and believed to be going 300 miles per hour when the crash occurred.

He did regain some consciousness at the crash site, but is in the Leeds General Infirmary's neurological unit, which probably means head injuries.

Hammond has an insane, quirky sense of humor that works really great on Brainiac.  I've never seen Top Gear, but a former show host says:

He has brought an awful lot to the programme and his indefatigable energy, the fact that he tries absolutely anything once, may have been the reason that he has overstepped the mark a bit.
