WTF: Mowing Lawns and Torture

It is 7:30 am on a Tuesday and my neighbor is mowing his lawn. The noise doesn't bother me, since I've been working for at least an hour. What does bother me is this: my own lawn needs to be mowed.

I was supposed to mow it yesterday, but work exploded and I spent the day making changes to client websites. Today it is supposed to rain.

You are correct if you say that if I really wanted to mow the lawn I would be out there with my neighbor instead of blogging. I'm in denial - just like the media and many bloggers have been over the U.S.'s use of torture.

Torture in any way, shape, or form is wrong. Torture for any reason is wrong. America is supposed to be better than this. America should provide a moral compass for the rest of the world.
