Would you believe Mary has over 100 searches that she follows on a number of different sources? Each search targets keywords or phrases that she is interested in monitoring. I need to set up something similar for AListReview and DoRealTime.
Some people didn't know that you could subscribe to headlines and other information from many news sites - CNN and Sports Illustrated. Halley points out that the RSS information is hidden and not easy for everyday users to find. The speakers are engaging, but I'm suffering an after lunch sleepiness. I'm not the only one - only the baby is showing much life. A turn outside during the break should clear the cobwebs.
Steve Broback asked what should done when a blog doesn't have an RSS feed. The surprising answer from Mary was that the author's wishes not to have an RSS feed should be respected. Not sure I agree with this, because many bloggers don't know how to enable their RSS feed.
