Then, I sit down and read my feeds and Halley Suitte is talking about regifting and links to a blog about it.
At least two wedding gifts I received were regifted - or maybe just something they bought and didn't like. One was a coffee carafe that had obviously been used (coffee splashes on the outside) and one was a clothes steamer that wasn't even put back into its box correctly.
That was tacky.
The whole reason regifting is a problem lies in the fact that people regift things that they don't like. Most of the time these are things that NO ONE would like. So begins a whole cycle of regifting nasty presents.
Every American has things they love, but don't (or can't) use. Why not gift those to friends and family?
