I don't believe in resolutions because I believe in goals (here's what Alan De Keyrel says is the difference), but I'm interested in what our A-Listers say they are going to do this year:
Fred at A VC is going to remove Microsoft from his life. He's on a Mac, so that won't be as difficult as it would be for a PC user.
Heather Green at BusinessWeek Online resolves to walk around the block a little more. This isn't the exercise resolution you'd expect. Instead she wants to take time to walk and think about the various facts that are streaming into her head.
Cool Hunting helps out those people whose resolution is to read more by suggesting books they reviewed last year.
Enhance Life resolved to better organize the files and folders in his (or her) computer. There are some pretty good tips here if you want to take that very scary step into your own computer.
Hugh Macleod wants to stop smoking and get in shape. What's that "HA" about, Hugh? Getting in shape will be much easier if you quit smoking!
Know More Media highlights some of my fellow bloggers' resolutions.
I do have goals for this year, two of them, and I'll share them with you:
- I am going to lose approximately 150 lbs to get down to a size 8
- I am going to write a book about internet-based applications aimed at non-geek baby boomers.

Great goals, to be sure, Diane. My goal is to get a quarter of a down payment for a house saved; the remaining 3/4 to be saved in the next 4 years. If I didn't live in SoCal, it'd be much easier!
